Products are placed onto the Intralox Series 400 Flush grid conveyor (level 1) at an infeed height of approximately 2425 mm, entering a four-level freezing system where they pass through a total of 60 meters of conveyor. These four levels makes it possible too freeze heavier products. Each level features a 15-meter belt, and an automatic leveling system ensures smooth transfer between levels, resulting in consistent and uniform core temperatures. The belt, with an effective width of 2380 mm, can be precisely adjusted from 0.07 m/min to 2.30 m/min to accommodate different products or production requirements. For smaller products with shorter freezing times, it is possible to use level 3 as the infeed and bypass levels 1 and 2.
At the heart of the system are six KOMA T-98-2*S6F-30.2Y compressor racks, equipped with two Bitzer S6F-30.2Y semi-hermetic two-stage compressors, providing the needed cooling capacity. Each rack includes a liquid receiver, oil management system, filter drier, and a compact control cabinet for seamless operation. Cooling is delivered through Goedhart LLK.p 187 m² evaporators, offering 27 kW capacity with a 25,000 m³/h airflow and a 45° downblow for optimal air distribution. The evaporators are equipped with electric coil defrost, ensuring reliable and uninterrupted operation. This feature allows the system to maintain optimal freezing performance at all times, preventing ice buildup and guaranteeing consistent airflow and uniform product temperatures. Further it includes a KOMA CAV L09 air-cooled condenser, paired with high-efficiency Süd-Electric fans, ensures reliable performance even under demanding conditions.
The freezer is equipped with a sophisticated control cabinet featuring Somron Sysdrive inverters, allowing full control over belt speed and enabling precise adjustment to meet the specific needs of any product.
