The Frigoscandia Classic 600 is a high-performance industrial spiral freezer, well known for its reliability, efficiency, and compact design. This used unit offers an excellent opportunity to acquire proven Frigoscandia technology at a significantly lower investment than new equipment.

Designed for continuous production, the Classic 600 delivers consistent and uniform freezing while optimizing floor space. With a 600 mm belt width, it is suitable for a wide range of food products, including meat, poultry, fish, bakery items, and ready meals. The spiral configuration provides long dwell times within a compact footprint, ensuring high product quality and throughput.

This machine is configured with a North–South (NS) infeed and outfeed and counter-clockwise rotation (CCR), allowing easy integration into existing processing lines. Built for industrial environments, the Frigoscandia Classic series is known for its robust construction, hygienic design, and long service life.

The Frigoscandia spiral freezer is equipped with a stainless steel belt approximately 335 meters in length, providing a total estimated freezing surface of around 170 m². With an infeed height of approximately 880 mm, the system can be easily integrated into existing production lines. The belt is driven by a SEW-EURODRIVE R87F DV100L4 electric motor, ensuring stable and reliable operation.

To maintain optimal hygiene and performance, the freezer features a belt wash system with a Grundfos water pump, keeping the belt clean and operating efficiently at all times.

The freezer is supplied with a control cabinet fitted with a Danfoss VLT 5000 frequency regulator and a Siemens Simatic C7-621 PLC. This advanced control setup allows the operating parameters to be precisely adjusted to suit different products and production conditions, ensuring flexibility and consistent freezing results.

The complete set also includes an NH₃ evaporator with airflow generated by two centrifugal fans, driven by an ABB M2AA160L6 electric motor (50 Hz, 11 kW, 970 RPM). This configuration ensures efficient air circulation and uniform freezing performance throughout the system.
